Each locking bolt operates independently of one another, with up to to 55 precision Rack & Pinion gears driving up to 20 1 1/2" locking bolts. Fort Knox surpasses infdustry standards by offering standsard fire protection to 1680 degrees for 90 minutes with an optional Reinforced Fire Liner with protection to 1680 degrees for 120 minutes.
